(MoneyNewsWire.Net, February 18, 2016 ) London, UK -- As recently as September 2015 the Bitcoin mining pool power of Bitclub Network was showing 2 peta hash and was at full capacity. Bitclub Network had just opened a new mining facility in Iceland and that power is now at more than 20 peta hash and it is going to grow to more than twice that size to 48 peta hash moving towards and into the summer of 2016
Over the last few days the number of new BitCoin blocks hit by BitClub is 16 - that is, to put it in perspective, 400 BitCoin and, at the approximate current value of $400 per BitCoin, that is $160,000 of income into the mining pool within about 4 days and that should increase as the new power settles in and then, of course, grows some more.
This means that Bitclub Network now count for upwards of 3% of the total Bitcoin mining worldwide. This might not sound like much but back in July 2015, they were not hitting enough blocks to actually figure in the BlockChain top mines chart at all. They would occasionally, since then, poke up high enough to figure at 1%. It is estimated it is now around the 6th largest BitCoin mining operation worldwide and are growing where many mining operations are standing still or going backwards.
Currently showing in the BlockChain charts at 3%, it is believed that they will very soon regularly hit 5% and then more. Whilst it is unlikely to match the size of BitFury or the big 3 Chinese mines you cannot get to invest in those anyway.
