(MoneyNewsWire.Net, February 20, 2016 ) Chickamauga, Georgia -- As the city of Chickamauga embarks on their 124th anniversary, local CPA, Scott Goble is expanding his Accounting and Financial Planning firm, Sound Accounting to one of the town's most historic landmarks. In 1889, the first general store and first brick building was built in the town. For over a century, the building has been through different professional spaces including a pharmacy, antique store, event center, bed and breakfast, and most recently as 'Chocolate Therapy'. This two story building has retained its original charm including the hard wood floors and brick walls. Goble's goal is to focus on preservation; he wants to ensure that the character of the building continues to be preserved.
"Buying this building was a very personal decision for me and my wife, Jennifer," Goble commented. "The city is such a beautiful area. We wanted an area that is centrally located for our loyal clientele and a place that will be inviting to new folks who could benefit from our expertise."
Goble plans to officially open Sound Accounting by the end of October. The practice will continue to offer accounting, tax and financial planning. After the first of the year, Goble and his team will start offering a variety of free weekly classes and workshops.
Sound Accounting in Chickamauga is located at 105 Gordon Street.
