(MoneyNewsWire.Net, October 07, 2015 ) Wilmington, Delaware -- The CFO for Stunning Gadgets said that the company has decided to hold off all excessive spending during the final quarter of 2015. The same may be the case for the following year. The company will only spend on necessary obligations like salaries, machine and office maintenance etc. The report shows that the company probably does not need to spend as much during the final three months as the orders continue to roll in for its Pocket Chain saw products and so there is no particular slump in business.
Stunning Gadgets is one of the many businesses that decides to halt spending during months that are often already busy or those which are not particularly fruitful. Businesses use a Return on Investment factor to decide when to spend for the best return and when to hold back. Though Stunning Gadgets decision to hold off spending during the final quarter could signal one of two things, the first being that the company's finances have been exhausted or that the company receives a fair bit of orders during the final quarter. Whatever may be the case the company will have to start spending heading into the next year.
"We change our spending patterns based on market trends and past experience. In the past we used a uniform spending pattern throughout the year. But that often meant that we spent during months where our return was very low or even nonexistent. This not only goes for spending on advertising and marketing but also on research and development. It is around this time of the year that many of our employees are on leave. So, the R&D department is not running full steam." said the Chief Finance Officer for Stunning Gadgets "We continue to observe how money is spent and what type of return we are getting from what is being spent. Stunning Gadgets has plans on introducing a number of new products starting some time in 2016. But the plans have yet to be unveiled in full detail. However, some employees have commented is that the spending is being held back in order to make excessive funds available for a mega launch and marketing of the upcoming products. But how and when new products are introduced are left to be seen.
