New RFID Credit Card Blocking Cards Could Put An End To Electronic Pick-Pocketing

(MoneyNewsWire.Net, January 28, 2015 ) Atlanta, Georgia -- With today's technology becoming more innovative, so are the methods thieves are using to steal credit card information. With newly issued Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) credit cards flooding the market, individuals are able to pay for things easier than ever. Radio Frequency Identification chips allow individuals to simply tap their credit or debit card to a scanner when paying for things at a store--no need to swipe a magnetic strip card anymore. While it makes it convenient, it also makes it easy for thieves to read credit cards without a person knowing it.

With new technology, thieves can simply walk by an unsuspecting victim and scan their card through their wallet, pants, purse, or whatever may be holding the card; the victim would have no idea of what had happened, that is until they check their bank account later. One company has created a remedy for this very real problem.

CamelCase Solutions has created a product known as the RFID Signal Protection Cards. With these innovative cards a person can simply "sandwich" their RFID credit cards between two Signal Blocking Cards and insert the whole stack into their wallet as they normally would. These RFID blocking cards reflect the signals of any RFID reader back to the source, leaving the RFID credit cards between them as safe and secure as ever. With a new product like this, a person can enjoy the added convenience of their new contactless credit cards without worrying their information will be stolen leaving them with nothing but an empty bank account.

The CamelCase Solutions RFID Signal Protection Cards can be purchased on Amazon for around twenty dollars--a cheap alternative to paying to remedy credit card fraud. With RFID credit cards becoming more prevalent in the United States, it is predicted that by the end of 2015 all newly issued credit cards in America will contain RFID chips rather than having magnetic strips. Here's hoping that companies like camelCase Solutions continue to develop innovative solutions to emerging issues in our society.
