Artist personality, Kattrina Hollywood, has felt that kind of brutal reality with a recent flooded loft. The overhead pipes have frozen and burst into a watery disaster and ruining everything in its path. Everything in the loft was damaged and needs to be replaced. Among the list of items that were damage include furniture, appliances, bed and mattress, and her life has been shattered. She is in the dreaded dire position of having to scramble into a new place to live while replacing everything that has been lost. This is something that shouldn’t happen to anyone. The management of the property has declined to be of any help and has not claimed any responsibility.

A site has been set up to help Ms Hollywood and there are pictures of the damaged loft and furniture. There are close up pictures that show water damaged furniture, bed and mattress, and television.
Detroit has been in the media lately for some uplifting news items such as the International Car Show and Detroit 2020. There are a lot of “pro-Detroit” people out there that want to see the city make a real comeback and become a beacon for young people, employment and even an artistic revival. The responsibility of making this huge turn around also falls on the shoulders of honorable and decent landlords and property management. Metro Detroiters can make a stand and offer financial assistance and show their allegiance through the fund. The fund is set up as a focal point for all people of Detroit.
