The cost of purchasing and getting the greenhouses and fertilizer to the moon ranges from $1.7 billion to $5.9 billion, depending on how they are transported.
As for providing water for the humans and plants, the infographic estimates the cost of shipping and storing enough H2O for the year would run anywhere from $13 billion to $43 billion.
